Welcome to the website

I just turned 60 and it was a hard pill to swallow.  Due to the ways of the world right now, I didn’t feel like celebrating, let alone, well, alone.  I always thought that my 60th would outshine my previous milestone, but it sucked.  Yup, I said it.

On my 50th, I took myself to India.  It was on my bucket list and an opportunity came up with Vegnews, a Vegan publication based in San Francisco.  I’d been an avid reader for years and always saw the ads, but the tours sold out so fast.  I decided to put myself (as a single) on the waiting list and was  thrilled when the email came in saying there was a spot for me.  I jumped in head first and soon after, I was on the journey of a lifetime.
